With a joy in my hart I entered this country. The end of German maize road nightmare, with it many ring roads, was a blessing for my time table!
Czech Republic is far more les developed so it is easy to find way if you do not have time to look for it!
Border crossing was very strange, as there is more Vietnamese trading with all their goods than eny other nations. Even Czech them self's are in a minority. After passing markets and so on there was time for brothels!!
But I was happy, road was quite good the weather acceptable, forest all around me. Even I have seen some dears crossing the road! First since I entered Europe! If you are wondering what is the deference between west and east Europe. Now you know: The wildlife!!!
Far less traffic on the roads, more wild apple trees with some frozen fruits still on them, (My vitamins source). Snow covered fields and forest up to the horizon. I have been looking on my speedometer and with enthusiasm noticed that I'm doing very well!!! That day in the morning I started from Regensburg, cycling full on all day and 3 hours after dark up to Pilzeń, The night was freezing, I have found quiet place and start the fair.
Early next morning my offensive was one more time in the fullest.
The feeling of home was so big that I have overrun Praha and continue next few hours in westerly direction among the darkens. Luckily I had good weather and have found abounded house to spend the night.
I felt very strange, soon it was going to finish, I was going to be back in my home country, I was cycling in Czech only 2 days, I didn't even exchange any money. Just paid with Euro and got change in Korony.
Since Germany I'm all the time in touch with my cousin husband Krzysiek which is updating me about the weather conditions, sending it via txt massage. My European return is now under more detail eye of all family, which is preparing big welcome.
Where ever I stopped to eat people have been looking at me as some strange thing. When I told them that I"m going back form Cape Town the couldn't believe suspecting some joke!
But for me there was no joke, tomorrow was going to be my BIG DAY!
