The sun was up for few days already. I crossed Spanish/France border high up in Pyrenees long after the sunset. Finding the place to camp wasn't difficult. Lucky this time I found small stream with fresh water and a lot of firewood. After cold night the sun wormed me up and beautiful views rewarded the hardship of yesterday evening.
I'm back in to francophone's area one more time. This time my French is a bit bather and asking for directions doesn't seems to be a trouble.
On a very beginning I caught a biiiiig hole in my tire. The screw was around 10 cm long. I don't know how it happened. But now I know why in French speaking Africa I couch so many flat tires!!!
Looks like there is something in that French speaking people that they throw so many sharp things on the road?.
The time was running so I wasn't waiting it. All throw the views were nice I had to be fast. Once I got to famous Montpelier on the coast it was just one day run to Rhone river Valley. As most of you know this is a wine country and there was plenty of small towns with it's Middle Ages architecture and mountain slopes with vineyards. As I was cycling up north I have been passing all this magical places where time just stopped and nobody is in the hurry.
And when I have been passing one of this places it happens that there was an village fair. I stopped to make some photos and one passing by person just present me a ticket for wine tasting event!! Saying that some time ago he also have been cycling like me.
Well If you insist!!!- I thought....
More than 100 wine makers have been presenting their work in an nice worm building.....
I drunk couple of glasses and that was it, Just in the middle of a day I got a bit drunk! There was nothing els to be done but just cycle it out!!!
And with a bit more happy mud I went off.
After 4 days from the Spanish border I reached Lyon, beautiful place with more beautiful girls walking on the streets!!! Fuck and I have to go!!!
Climbing up from the river bed I had to digest all the sorrows. Do my best for the rest of a day.
Soon there was more difficult days to come. First there was worm night and fog like milk for all day. Next there was rain cold and nothing more. Time to swallow all the hardship of European winter cycling I thought
All the way to German border weather was very bed. In all this I have been camping and trying to find some shelter if passible. The warm fire was my best friend and a must needed evening event.
Sad to say, no one of locals was interested in hosting an lonely cyclist even in his shed!

But Germany was even worst!
