www.abi.com.pl After all, a new continent, although people call it the old continent, Europe. Sunny Spain welcomed me with rain, fortunately, it was not intensive. Nothing could spoil my good mood. Costa del Sol is very tourist-oriented, but it’s not a big deal. There is plenty of parks and good roads, not to mention the special cycle lanes! The mountains on one side and the Mediterraen cost on another; very scenic. There was plenty of cycling tourists and I was happy to wave them when passing by, sometimes we chatted merrily. So good to be out of Africa!
Of course was a bit more expensive, but when I'm looking for something, I usually find it and probably in a good quality. Since the winter was coming faster and faster, I did very important shopping in a supermarket. I had long cycling trousers and some more toys to make my bike ride more comfortable in cooler conditions. I’m back to the normality, the world of the free camping and very friendly people; but I couldn’t wait. Now my race was getting to the point when I had to do more than 120 km a day and I was going to do even more if had to; so I did. Every day I had to wake up before the sunrise and at the crack of dawn jump on a bike and cycle as much as I could making only few lunch breaks. Sometimes I cycled even over 2 hours after the sky darkened just to do my daily limit.
Spain is very mountainous, which was driving me crazy. That was just a beginning, soon I discovered that all my way home led me through bigger or smaller mountains. But first, I was going to Cordoba to meet my Spanish friend, Claudio, whom I’d met long time ago in Namibia!
