After the bridge In Bafulabe, exactly Mahina the Dejavu from DRC starts for good!!!
The road and the railway track start to be one, or there is no road!!
Not mentioning that from Kita up to Manantali there was very little of that good road which locals have been telling about.
In the days before "dejavu"I had to replace two tires in my bike luckily I had a spear ones with 2.1 tickles. It makes it more comfortable to move forward in this difficult tertian
Why dejavu somebody will ask?
Because I was following track which apparently to be a very well maintain road, in reality it was very hard to find it. And of course the railway which date back up to 1934 with very little maintenance on it.
On my way I have been passing small villages which happened to be a station. There was a smalle solid build building, but very destroyed and the date"1934"on it.
Not much food for sell availed either.

After I had passed a very well define roundabout with a concrete hippo on it there was an old and broken board showing 130 km to Kayes and further you can see only sandy and bumpy track. Which after the town go's even worse.
But it was somehow magical, Very little road, from time to time some village which haven't change much form the time the railway have been built. Long gold grass, bushy trees railway track somewhere on the site and river on another.
.
When I emerged from this forgotten land, surpassingly I sow cliffs and canyons which marks invisible border between fertile land and Sahel itself.
In Kayes I did necessary checkups on my bike, replacing back sprocket, chain, and forward sprocket.
I also started to feel a bit week in the end of a day with something like a fever. It was bed but I decided to continu. Later on just before I entered Mauretania the fever was very strong. The diagnose was obvious - malaria. I started taking mix of two malaria medicine Coartem and Co-Arinate. It helped but malaria make me very week. As the time was running I was very eager to move forward without time to waist. It was bad idea which showed more result later on in Mauretania.
Although I did rest haft a day in Kayes doing all the bike repairs. I did continue to Mauretania in the afternoon with the hope of better things to come.
