Why did I came to visit this place?? Somebody might ask..
The lake is small and a rock hole. More funny is that you have to pay 25 ND to see that????????
It is situated just next to the road and maybe that is why people stop here at all to have a look.
Although you will meet there mostly white old people trying to catch up with "the things to see before I die".
Well, Lake Otjikoto is not worth it I would say. You can't even swim in there. What??????
But for me the place has a different meaning. Kazimierz Nowak traveled Africa on his bike in 1930's ans was probably the first man ever to have crossed that continent twice on a bike and he was from Poland!!
I just wanted to have a photograph with the historical plate put there by people who I met in Opuwo.
And so my journey continues, the wind blows and good speed is taking me south.
