Just one step before Namibia

The race with time is getting on my nerves now and of course tiring me out.
I have finally arrived in Springbok after another few more long stretches on the road. I have decided to have at least a half a day off. And so I am stopping here although the internet is extremely expensive so I have to save that for another time. I have been able to, however, had the pleasure of taking a much needed free shower and have a read of some pamphlets in the Springbok Tourism Information Centre.
Springbok is a nice place in the middle of nowhere although that sense of 'nothing' is sometimes what people want to see I guess! So after I have taken some time the next day I finally set out for the Orange River border crossing with Namibia, and yes, they have a river there!!! It is not actually orange but with the setting of the sun it does almost look like it has an orange hue.
